Which Peterson pipe for a shorter smoking period while working with your hands?

Newbie here. Looking for a Peterson to smoke while working on my boat/fishing rods etc in my boat shed. Is it easier to work with your hands smoking a bent shaped pipe?

I definitely think a bent is easier to clench. Not really short smokes but a Milverton or SH Watson are good smokes. But there are similar shapes with smaller bowls for a shorter smoke. And a bent cob should work as well.

The Peterson short collection is ideal for what you're looking for. I have several of both the rusticated and smooth versions.
Peterson also recently introduced two models (3085 , which is a paneled pipe and 411, which is a squat Rhodesian) that could work.
Any of the Peterson 701 would seem to be a good choice.
When I'm working with my hands, I prefer a bent Peterson and lean to the 3/3s/303 series.

A Bent Pipe would be best maybe a 314 or a 303.

If you're after a short (time) smoke, I'd go for either a 314 or 317 system pipe.

Easy to smoke hands free as they're bent pipes and have smaller bowls than say a 312 or 305.

Petersons Junior lines might also be a good choice. Generally smaller dimensions and lighter pipes. I agree with the others that bent is easier to clench when working with your hands.

I have a St Patrick’s Day full bent 314 that would appear to be what you’re after. It’s quickly becoming one of my favourite pipes because it’s so light and easy to clench. The bowl size is perfect for a short smoke of 20-30 minutes as well depending on tobacco of course.

Today as I was smoking my Peterson Jekyll and Hyde I thought that maybe it would be a great pipe to use when working with your hands. It is a 999 Shape.

well, I just got in the mail today a Peterson 304. I really wanted something that would stand on its own and the sitter style is exactly what I need.
