Good Morning and Happy 4th of July!
I slept in this morning, it's our 21st Wedding anniversary! We lived together for seven or eight years before tying the knot, I was divorced and didn't think Lynda would believe Wedding vows I had broken in the past. She insisted on giving me a second chance and we got married overlooking Niagra Falls not far from where I deposited my first wedding ring back in the late 80's.
I'm starting off with the usual GLP Westminster in an MM Apple Diplomat. I made a press pot of coffee for us to enjoy.
Balisong and Lynda, happy anniversary!

Tabac manil Volute in the little Algerian. Decided to take advantage of the 10% off at SP, so I ordered Warped Until the End and Cloudhopper which both have cigar leaf the former two kinds. I always greatly enjoyed Warped cigars. Happy July 4th Independence Day to all us Americans. To everyone else have a great day, and how about posting special days in your country.

Almost a third of the way through this bowl of year 2008 Astley’s No. 109 in a straight smooth dark brown year 1926 Parker Super Bruyere patent 3 63/F lovat with a black vulcanite saddle stem. Watching the Yankees-Reds game.

Spending the 4th (Happy 4th, all!) in my shop painting the storm door to my machine shed. Wind this Spring, plus some water damage cracked the mortice & tenon joints on the frame. I milled new parts, glued them up a few weeks back. I made this door in 2002 when I built the machine shed, so know how it was put together. No better time to enjoy a pipe but when you are painting. My Barling 6229 King EXEL with vulcanite bit and MB HH Virginia. Inclimate weather canceled pool and food time at the country club with granddaughter & my lady. Postponed till tomorrow. Par for this wet season.

I started round two, GLP Laurel Heights in a Let Freedom Ring Rob Roy while talking with a good friend and I'm finishing it watching a turkey spin on the new charcoal rotisserie grill. We usually have Mimosas on our anniversary morning but this afternoon we're having Prosecco and mango juice instead, I guess it's a Mangosa!
I finally got a shot of Billy relaxing, he usually romping to quickly to get a shot!

Had a great chat with @Balisong , then I enjoyed a late lunch. I'm passing the half way mark of this bowl of Watch City Simply Red with Perique in a black straight, grain etched family era post-WWII Four Dot Sasieni “Appleby” apple with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Have basically finished the review. Gold Star Jamaican Estate Reserve, neat, is my drink. Have enough left for a cup or two.

He's sure growing up fast. Such a handsome fella! :)

Almost a third of the way through this bowl of year 2012 Esoterica Dunbar in a smooth straight, dark brown early 1960s Lane era Charatan Selected 43 Dublin with a black vulcanite double comfort saddle stem. This pipe was formerly owned by actor William Conrad. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

Had a way too short snooze, but Sleepy Suzy wanted to eat, so she woke me up. It was a good thing since the Braves-Giants game will start soon. I was enjoying one of my favorite TV shows: Aerial America, but it's time for baseball. I'm a third of the way through this bowl of year 2016 D&R Two Timer Gold in a straight, black sandblasted pre-1970 Comoy’s Sunrise Etched Grain straight Liverpool 309 with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Getting ready to clean a few pipes.

We gave the lambs their evening treat, part of which is giving them a good scratch! After a shower I'm enjoying GLP Westminster in a Rob Roy along with a glass of Moscato wine. The turkey is almost done. It was a small jenny but it looks like a great dinner!

Lynda is the pit master!

Relaxing after a wonderful salad, snapper and green beans dinner with strawberries for dessert. I'm half way through this bowl of year 2013 Stonehaven in a straight black sandblasted 1957 Barling Exel 249 Fossil T.V.F. black billiard with a silver banded military mount and a black ebonite tapered stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink. The rain let up enough that I took the trash and recycle cans to the street. Wish it hadn't washed out walking reps late this afternoon. Watching the Braves-Giants game.
