Now smoking year 2016 Sutliff 507-C Slices in a black sandblast PSB medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY 4AB No. 228/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink.
A quarter of the way through this bowl of year 2014 Dunhill Flake in a straight smooth 1960 Dunhill DR 137 group 4 root briar canted dublin with a tapered black vulcanite stem. This should get me to dinner time.
Smoking one of my Dad’s old pipes, a 70’s Ben Wade packed with C&D’s Bayou Nights. Listening to LPs from my record collection with the objective to cull the herd. Gotta make room for what’s next.
Relaxing after a wonderful salad, chicken legs and green beans dinner with strawberries for dessert. I'm a quarter of the way through this bowl of year 2013 Stonehaven in a 1998 smooth medium bend brown Peterson Limerick 69 with a nickel band with a tapered black vulcanite p-lip stem. Every so often, you get a pipe that greatly exceeds their pay grade. This Peterson is one of them. It's not a high grade pipe, but it smokes Stonehaven every bit as well as my beloved Barling 249 and the Rinaldo silver spigot, both of which are also dedicated to Stonehaven. It's wonderful when that happens. Paid $35 for it at a going out of business Tinderbox in 1998. Community Coffee, neat, is my drink.
Half way through this bowl of Watch City American Cut Plug Mixture in a black rusticated medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY 4AB No. 67/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. Fed Daisy the Feral Princess, and Harry the Hairy.
Nightcap was Epiphany in my Rattray's, my pipe this morning is Haunted Bookshop in the Re-Gent. Pipes to clean this evening and housekeeping then I'll put my feet up for the week-end.
As happens here, the rain that forbade a fire last night has ushered in a cool spell (59 F), so I am out in my usual spot having a bowl of Warped Kings Stride in a Peterson rusticated standard system with p-lip 309 with water and coffee. I have a deep sense of gratitude for this group, and reflect on the forum name, as we are a brotherhood.
Good Morning!
I got to sleep in this morning and once my coffee was ready it was off to the feed store! Now I'm finishing the GLP Westminster that I loaded into a bent MM Washington Rob Roy for the ride.
I'm smoking Straus Sleepy Hollow in a Jansen's N.O. bent volcano with saddle stem, drinking Folger's Colombian coffee, and reading a book. Then I'm heading out for breakfast with the Romeos.
Near the half way mark of this bowl of pre-2014 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style. Ice water and bergs is my drink. Fed Daisy the Feral Princess and Harry the Hairy. Since it's sprinkling a little, I figure Tomato the Brave is wherever he hides from the rain. Still haven't seen Abner the Eager.
