A third of a bowl left of year 2018 Sutliff Dunhill Elizabethan Match in a 1982 smooth straight Dunhill Root Briar 31051 dublin with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Just finished cleaning a few pipes.

Had my nightcap already, Black and Golden Cavendish in my Savinelli 616 KS.

@JimInks I thought about getting Elizabethan Match in my Sutliff order this time round but opted for African Queen. What is your take on African Queen? I went with it bc it is a Oriental/Burley/Virginia blend, but not technically an English blend - no Latakia. I also enjoyed the film. Elizabethan is still on my to do list.

I've never smoked it, so I can't tell you anything about it.

Enjoyed a tasty Snap Dragon apple, and am part way through this bowl of Wilke Surbrug’s Golden Sceptre in a late 40s, early 50s straight black sandblasted Wagner British Thorn 495 (Comoy’s second) pot with a black vulcanite saddle stem. Working and listening to The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes.

Did a little low calorie snacking, and am smoking year 2018 D&R Windsail in a 2018 full bend smooth natural Peterson Sherlock Holmes Lestrade with a silver band and a black vulcanite saddle p-lip stem. I had planned to work longer, but my back stiffened up, so I'm relaxing in my reading chair with Sleepy Suzy by my side.

Passing the quarter mark of this bowl of year 2020 Angler's Dream in a 2016 PSF POY quarter bend black sandblasted Steve Norse Vermont Freehand egg with an aluminum band and a tortoise shell colored acrylic saddle stem. I'll end the day with this smoke. Been feeding the ferals before bed time.

Good Morning!
Yesterday afternoon I took an MM Rob Roy filled with GLP Westminster on our trip to the Vet with the Scamper brothers. They did well, passed their blood tests and got their vaccines. They get neutered in three weeks. We stopped for Chipotle take out and the outside birds were inside when we got home making it an easy close up. I had more GLP Westminster in a fresh MM Rob Roy to enjoy while watching the news.

I'm starting the day with more GLP Westminster in a bent MM Apple Diplomat along with a cup of coffee. All the animals are napping after enjoying their morning feed and fresh water.

About to go outside and enjoy this SPC Plum Pudding Special Reserve in my new to me Irish Second and have a final cup of coffee.
Might even walk up the hill to the house pad with a dog and watch the sunset.

Man, that's a good looking pipe. Hard to believe it is a second.

I think yesterday's cigar helped move me to conclude that I am no longer much of a cigar smoker. I was missing my pipe and the greater relaxation it affords. One thing about cigars is they stay lit. Enjoying some Warped Until the End (the irony it is a cigar blend) in a Yello-Bole Cured with Real Honey Premier pot. It still has the bowl coating and is a good pipe.

It's a beautiful morning BoB,
I finalized the blend I've been working on. As I've said in some previous posts, its made up of blends I'm not partial to and makes for something more than its parts.
It's 15 parts Lane Hazelnut, 8 parts Captain Black Cherry, and 4 parts Captain Black Dark.
Because of its component parts and because I'm secretly five years old, I'm calling it Captain's Nuts and I declare it's a fantastic way to smoke through these blends I don't like!
Drinking fancy green tea and listening to OTR, it's a good morning.

Earlier, I smoked a bowl of pre-2014 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style.

Currently, I'm close to finishing this bowl of year 2013 Germain’s Plum Cake in an undated, unbranded straight lattice meerschaum military mount with a silver cap and tapered yellow acrylic stem. Been a busy day so far. Lunch follows this smoke.

Enjoyed a Jethro Bodine size bowl of Raisin Bran with extra raisins throw in and a golden delicious apple on the side. I've passed the last third of this bowl of year 2020 Watch City Rouxgaroux in a smooth medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY Natural 4AB No. 6/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. Gold Star Hawaiian Kona Extra Fancy, neat, is my drink. All the ferals ate, and I'm back to reviewing after this smoke.
