I'm new to the "pipe scene" so forgive my ignorance of the community but is this a spam account? Posted this same exact thing yesterday. He makes the same posts on at least 3 other pipe forums.

Passing the quarter mark of this bowl of pre-2014 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

It's sunny but cold and breezy here in the Bluegrass. I took Sir Barksalot of Yorkshire for a walk, and now I'm in the garage finishing my CS Riverboat Queen in a Jansen's N.O. bent volcano with saddle stem, along with a cup of coffee.

I can attest that @JimInks is no spammer. But I think he starts each day with the same pipe and tobacco.

I do exactly that.

@occidentalist , is there something wrong with being on other forums? If so, then why are you doing that? And did it occur to you that I post all my smokes on the forums I am on? Or are you fishing for drama?

I had to edit this. @JimInks, did "garageloop" sound like I was walking my dog in the garage? Actually, I have no idea how "loop" got attached to "garage". 😄

I don't know, is there? I just made an observation and asked a question. I moved from pipesmag, to psd, to here as I searched for a community more to my liking. Since you noticed my posts, you probably have noticed that once I moved on from a particular site that I stopped posting there. I already have a full time job. Don't want or need another.

Fishing for drama? Geez. Take a breath. I just made an observation. Part of my job has to do with pattern recognition and identifying bot AI. One account making all of it's posts in one specific thread with low interactions and ignoring the rest of the forum, 9 times out of 10 indicates a bot. I'm happy to be wrong! My apologies if you took offense to where none was intended.

Jim's definitely known in the pipe world. He is one of the more prolific and trusted reviewers of tobacco blends and he has quite the extensive collection of pipes. He's also an illustrator who's worked on properties everybody knows. He takes care of cats too.

He posts here more than anybody else which is to say yes, he's a complete total spammer.

We like having him though.

Captains nuts in my beater mm cob. Took my wife to the doctors for a checkup this morning then we had a great brunch. Good times.

Earlier, I smoked a bowl of year 2012 Rolando’s Own in a smooth straight early ‘60s Lane era “William Conrad” Charatan Executive Extra Large stretch apple with diagonal channel cuts on the lower right and left of the bowl along with a black vulcanite double comfort saddle stem. Enjoyed a great chat with a great friend.

Currently, I just did a second set of walking reps, and am close to finishing this bowl of year 2015 D&R A.B. Rimboche in an undated slight bend, smooth flame grain Wessex Standard egg with a brown accent on the black vulcanite saddle stem. Tomato the Brave showed up for more food. Haven't seen Abner the Eager today.

Using the term "spammer" is a provocative and insulting term, and you've been around long enough to know that, especially considering the job you say you have. You should have taken a look at my twelve-plus years on these forums before coming to any conclusion about my forum posts or reviews at Tobacco Reviews. And since you've posted smokes, you ought to have seen enough to know better than to write an accusatory post in this thread. As it is, I'll accept the apology in the spirit that you intend.

This afternoon I'm smoking C&D Virginia Flake in an MM Morgan along with a cup of Ethiopian Sidamo coffee. It's too cold and windy to spend any time outside so couch potato it is!
I wish I could have done that today, blustery day for tree removals. Too windy for anything big so it was all piddly 6-12 inch trees, worst part is actually salvaging stove-length from it. Home now, decompressing with Granger in my little Lorenzetti and a coffee, dinner on its way.

Beautiful fall day in Austin. Grateful for the nice weather as I’ve got to deal with a “no smoke zone” otherwise know as the inside of my house. Lighting up a Heritage sandblasted billiard (Kaywoodie’s attempt to compete with Dunhill by hiring a high level Dunhill exec in 1960 to run their new Heritage division, which was subsequently shuttered some 10 years later). C&D Steamworks.

Just finished smoking year 2020 Watch City Rouxgaroux in a smooth medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY Natural 4AB No. 6/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. Had more great chat with the same buddy that I talked to earlier. Bet his ears are still in shock. 🤣

Running out to cut rounds between rain breaks. Can't bring myself to pull out the rain gear. That commits me to all weather work for the duration.
I know the rain is coming, but I can deny it in my head until I can't.
I'm sitting down with a bowl of Nutty Irishman in my MM cob. She's starting to get some patina to her. I should probably pull off the sticker on the bottom.
