    Margate

Let's remember that tobacco (like many things) is in a large degree a matter of personal preference. One man's lat/oriental bliss is another man's "licking a dirty ash try" as they say. It is very hard for people to separate their personal likes/dislikes from the quality or complexity of a...

    Margate

An excerpt from one of "those" reviews: "I was able to pinpoint the aroma to Lucerne Grass, which is used in the manufacture of Rabbit pellets (by the makers and the rabbits). This tobacco rates alongside a good Welch Claret, or a fine Scottish cigar." I guess he did not like it!

Taking nothing from the PS, the Dunhill is a lighter and classier smoke, IMO.

Agreed - light hay and sweet grass when you open the tin. Great room note.

    Pipeworks & Wilke

I seem to be in a minority on this, but I really enjoy the Pipemaker's Choice. Never tire of it. Also enjoy the Dummerston.

    JR's

Well . . . they did away with the free cigars years before Lew sold! I started going there right at the end of that era of kindness. I was told too many people were coming in, lighting up, and putting them out. But it sure was a great perk while it lasted!

    JR's

I remember some years ago that Burlington had a lot of pipe baccy on the floor.
