IMO, Erik Stokkebye 4th Generation Evening Flake is in that genre. To me it tastes like OGS with some age on it. I really enjoy it.

I had good experiences with both Estervals and pfeifendepot. Pfeifendepot has more economical shipping, but you typically have to email them with a list of the tobaccos that you want and they will send you an invoice via PayPal excluding the VAT tax. Thats how I do it at least.

The Eltang pokers are generally on the small side...sub 5" in length with chamber drilling around 17mm-18mm. On the bright side, they are fantastic smokers. You may also consider a rusticated poker by Mike Sebastian Bay as well, who worked for Tom for some time and uses his signature...

I use the microwave all the time. place the tobacco on a napkin or paper towel, and into the microwave for 9-12 seconds depending on how moist the tobacco is, followed by about 30 seconds of allowing it to cool down to room temp. Fill...and smoke. Works like a charm!

If youre looking for economical id suggest Lectric. They re affordable, adequately powered, and have a lot of nice little upgrades (ie front suspension), rear rack, headlamp. Only downside is disc brakes rather than hydraulic brakes oh, but they still function fine for around town riding...

I'm a big fan of the C&D Carolina Red Flake + Perique. Both the 2020 and 2021 are excellent imo, if you are a lover of VaPers. Great fresh from the tin and should age beautifully. Ive smoked through almost 3 tins already.

As @Brewdude said, Carter Hall is a good choice. I smoke a lot of Old Gowrie (my favorite baccy), and most of my pipes get broken in with this blend.

13 Eltangs! That's one heck of a collection, sir. Please share some photos of your favorites. I always admire a good Eltang. I've got one of his iconic bamboo pokers, and a few Basics.

All I know about the 4th Generation pipes is that they are made for Erik Stokkebye in Denmark by Peter Jeppesen. While I am not familiar with this particular line, I suspect that they are comparable to the Peter Jeppesen IDA 2 or IDA 3 (based on price). I have had a few Neerup and Jeppesen...
