    It's a living...

Your order of Allium~Cyperus papyrus~Canna is virtually identical to what I had on the east side of my house last year. The only thing missing is some indestructible Pachysandra in front, which you are probably better-off without.

    Dogs and Pontiac pics

The car looks awesome with that visor over the one-piece windshield (first year?). I would love to see it with the lights on and ornament illuminated.

    Leather Pipes?

I have had many pairs of leather work gloves become hard as a rock from simply being allowed to dry in direct sunlight, after getting wet from rainwater. If cattle branding is any indication of what smoking a leather pipe might be like, it would be hard to imagine someone resorting to such.

    Pipe tobacco and mosquitos

Is tobacco smoke known or believed to have mosquito repelling properties? I am quite certain that Sir Walter Raleigh does not.

    Homemade fishing net

That has a very interesting look, both modern and traditional; which I find quite appealing.

    What movie are you watching?

Day of the Outlaw (1959) I am going to watch the original black/white on DVD but there is a colorized version freely available online. This is the Italian movie poster, which is almost always better looking than the others.

    Change of (store) seasons

The grocery store (only) in town still has Easter candy out, though it is on clearance at 50% off.

    New "Accidental" Pipe Case

I second everything stated by Timbo in the above.

    The Black Patch Tobacco Wars

"Hillbillies quickly became a source of danger to the Association, mostly due to the Trust being able to refuse to buy from the Association and buy from the Hillbillies for prices as high as nine to 12 cents per pound of tobacco." "By 1909, the Association was a commercial success. The Trust was...

    What Are You Smoking Pages.

You might be giving some incompetent fool too much credit, not that either scenario is acceptable. I am smoking a bowl, while waiting for someone from the Cooling Center to call and tell me that the ice truck has finally arrived. (There has been an abundance of volunteers over the past few...

    An Act of God?

It appears as though the insurance company decided to allow God to take the hit on this one. Something more pressing must have came up.

Hello. Have you been serving in a ministerial~missionary capacity or something more secular?

    An Act of God?

This is definitely nothing new, as there are multiple mentions of it in The Bible and other ancient texts. These are a couple from Deuteronomy: Thou shalt not remove thy neighbor's landmark, which they of old time have set in thine inheritance… Cursed be he that removes his neighbor's landmark.

    An Act of God?

That is an excellent question, which I cannot answer with any degree of certainty. I know that Mister paid to have the fence installed and that the tree is on the opposite side of the fence but as you pointed out, that does not necessarily mean anything.
