    Psoriasis pain

I seem to be healing pretty well; no pain unless I'm on my feet too long. Apparently, some of the carcinoma was beneath the skin. While I was in the waiting area previous to having the stitches removed, had a short conversation with a man who had the same procedure and was there for a 90 day...

    Maybe It's Just Me

A 10% discount on tobacco really doesn't motivate me to make a purchase. When Tobaccopipes.com had a 25% off sale on all Sutliff bulk, I spent come dollars, but for 10% off, there's no motivation.

    Any ideas anyone???

With a briar, I just smoke it with the style of tobacco I'll be using; for me, 99/100 English latakia dominant. For a cob, I do make a paste of cigar ash and a drop or two of agave syrup. For me, breaking in a bare cob is like putting a torch to my tongue.

    Hello Again

My sincere condolences. I wish I didn't know where you're at. I lost my wife in 2008; my sister two years later. For three years, except for getting some food from the kitchen, I basically lived in the guestroom of my house. Then I had the epiphany moment: It was not the way my wife would want...

    The Smoker, Mel Feldman

I don't recall that at all. Did the tins say, original blends by Mel Feldman? You know how you can buy some greeting cards that when you open them, they play a song or vocalize a greeting. I thought it would be a good idea for someone re-creating Mel's blends to have one of those chips in each...

Caution: When Using The Noodle Press to Make Plugs

I don't. I've been pressing my blends for as long as I can remember, but never as compressed as I am with the noodle press. When I was using the huge Nemco tuna press, I pressed the tobacco once into a can and sealed it. With the noodle press, increasing the compaction for seven consecutive...

    An Attempt At Vegan Shawarma

I love a good burger. I ate meat for most of my life, even though I knew that a meat based diet largely led to my father's early death. His arteries were plugged. My LDL was very high, but, once I cut out the meat, it plunged to low normal. Now, with Impossible Burger, Impossible Sausage, Beyond...

Can Going Without Booze Aid Sleep?

Italians in the U.S., generally speaking, who have adopted the American style of eating and being sedentary, for the most part, share the American life expectancy. Italians in Italy, walk far more than Americans, and have much longer annual vacations to alleviate stress. Americans who eat a...

Caution: When Using The Noodle Press to Make Plugs

Having started out as a rookie noodle presser, I'm now a relatively experienced veteran. Just a couple of major points to make today. I disagree with the John Seiler essay, pertaining to the duration/length of press, when it's specifically with the noodle press. I think for the "health" of the...

The Blend I Wasn't Going To Assemble

I have many cans of my English blends that I hand pressed, and pounded into cans, then resealed. Some are many years old. I am always amazed at how they have changed with compression and aging. The noodle presses are creating a much firmer press and I'll be eager to see how they smoke in a few...

The Blend I Wasn't Going To Assemble

I do think that after a hard press and some aging, the blend tends to get very smooth to be less latakia dominant.

    dishwashing your pipes

One of the world of film making's greatest accomplishments: The beautiful and luscious Marsha in that video was played by Melanie Mayron, who turns 70 this year. See her at 1:44. Mayron was 24 when that movie was made. Geez, am I ever getting old!

    dishwashing your pipes

I understand that you can "wash" carefully wrapped fish fillets in the dish washer and then don't have to cook them. As far as power washing audio gear at the self-serve car wash, I'd never attempt that, but am not averse to attempting the task with some of my briefs.

Talked to a guy in the Ukraine…

I'm not so sophisticated. I have a both sides razor sharp cheese knife in my car, like this one, but I have black electrician's tape around the handle.

    Bose

I assume that inside the cabinet there's the same low frequency wiring module and twin 5.5 inchers that were in the other cabinet. If there's space, I want to wire four old Pioneer automobile speakers into the exterior sides of the cabinet, retaining the bass module. When the project is complete...
