How Often Do You Change Your Car's Oil

I have a 2005 Chevy 3/4 ton 2500HD Crew Cab which is a diesel. I change the oil every 10000 miles. The fuel filter and spin on transmission filter every 20000 miles. Currently have 175000 miles on the truck. I haul a thirty foot Heartland 305 Fuel toy hauler with it all over the country with no...

    Don't Laminate!

I must be one of the fortunate few. I laminated my card in the early 70's and have had no isuues. I did have issues once with an FAA Inspector who tried to tell me my original A&P license was a phony because it was paper and he didn't recognize the Administrator signature. I received my original...

    Disappointed in a Peterson

I have a couple of Peterson's with flaws, fortunately with no hot spots and good smokers. I own several Vauens and Jirsa's (a couple of which are considered their high grades) and think for the money they can't be beat. One of the Jirsa's I initially had issues with but blame the local shop...

    What movie are you watching?

Watching to me is a Western classic. Quigley Down Under (or The Rifle co-starring Tom Selleck). The movie got me into old western rifles and pistols. The 1885 Shiloh Sharps in the movie is a 45-110. I have three 1885's, a Winchester, a Browning and a Pedoriselli. All with octagon barrels but...

Ouch. Hopefully the surgery went well and you have a speedy recovery. Or as speedy as can be expected with a shattered bone.

    Esoterica 'baccy review/s

Pembroke is/was another one of my favorites. Not sure if its produced anymore or just not available in the states anymore. I agree with your very good review. My problem is my stash of Pembroke is in Arizona and I'm in Indiana. I have not tried the other two blends.

    My first knife project

I like it. Even as a "kit" that would make a hell of a hunting knife IMHO. I have a Bowie knife with a handle like that but its to large to carry hunting. The one you made is perfect for carrying while hunting.

    What Are You Smoking Pages.

I would say it started out (medium) strong and then mellowed out. A little tangy IMHO to start out. An okay flake but I think there are better out there. As an FYI I rubbed out before putting in the pipe.
