    Mac Baren

I've been enjoying Mac's Burley London Blend of late, just a real nice tobacco. Take your time and you will be rewarded with a wonderful flavorful smoke. I also like their HH Vintage Syrian. I've never experienced tongue bite with either of these fine blends.

    Oldest recipes still in production?

Samuel Gawith's claims go back to 1792 or there about. Not sure if the blends that are "occasionally" offered today were available back then. S&G, definitely some serious tobacco history.

B, I have not heard Guitar Forms but I will look for it and give it a listen, and Art Blakey is just amazing. I still have and listen to vinyl, I've got a nice tube rig that sounds wonderful, one of life's great pleasures

    The Re-release Dunhill

Thanks B, Iwan Ries seems to have a nice supply of what I was looking for, Early Morning Pipe, My Mixture 965, and Night Cap. These were the first tobacco's I smoked. I sure do miss them , sounds like the new stuff is nice, we'll see.

    The Re-release Dunhill

I know that neither of my local tobacconist carry Dunhill tobacco and after looking around the net a bit it seems like slim pickings as well. Hopefully there will be some available in the near future.

    Future Shortages.

Funny you should ask, I was going to order 2 tins of Union Square ( Fantastic Virginia ) last week from SmokingPipes and they were out of stock (2oz tins).

    JackKnife Plug!

Funny thing though the last 3 offerings from GL Pease didn't really appeal to me, but Jackknife plug really touched a nerve as it were. I didn't anticipate the supply dilemma, go figure...

    JackKnife Plug!

"Ob" I have 4 Western Electric 500's in various colors from the 50's in service in my house, all restored to perfection. Back to Jackknife plug, by my count Smokingpipes has had 3 shipments, and they all sold out rather quickly. Its hard to say whats fueling the "shortage", I think its a...
