    Springfield, Missouri, "On the Nod"...

Having grown up in Vancouver, BC, which has a huge population of drug addicts, I have seen my fair share of what you witnessed Oz. In Vancouver heavy drug use is so open and rampant that the city provides safe injection sites for junkies to come, get free needles and shoot up without having to...

    New Dunhill Releases

Just noticed that P&C is selling 3 new releases from Dunhill: Ye Old Signe, Dark Flake and 221 Baker Street. Surprised there isn't more buzz surrounding them. Anyone tried them and can weigh in on what they are like? Noticed they are already out of stock. Been smoking Royal Yacht and Durbar...

    How was your weather today?

Out here on the east coast of South Korea...hot and excessively humid. At noon its about 32 degrees C (89 F) and I would put the humidity around 70 percent or more. About the same humidity as a walk in humidor. Went sailing for a bit this morning with my son and we both sweltered and came...

    recommendations please

If its a quality aro you are after I would recommend the following MacBaren Flakes: Vanilla Cream, Mixture, or Navy Flake. Quality flakes in which the aromatic toppings actually come through in the smoke and taste nice and you can aways depend on the top notch consistency and quality of...

    This... is....nucking...futz!

Yup...that is pretty crazy. Aside from the jump itself here's what I find crazy... -His wife and 4 year old son attended the event, at his invitation, cheering him on. WTF? If he missed the net they would have had front row seating to watch him turn into a human pancake. -Redbull sponsored...

    Suggested sites for regular reading?

Wondering what sites folks here visit on a regular basis for reading. I tend to rely on the internet for reading, learning new things and just generally stimulating my brain. Living as an expat in an isolated part of Korea I don't have access to newspapers or bookshops that sell magazines or...

    A bag of samples

Sounds like you are in the land of aros now Stick. Nice allotment you got there, especially the 4noggins ones. Enjoy the journey. I find smoking as many kinds of tobacco is important to develop a palate. Well everyone does I suppose. But the funny thing is, I find, the more different tobaccos...

    McClellands Blue Mountain

Picked up a tin of this at a small cigar shop in Seoul about 2 months ago. I think it goes by the name Balkan Blue now. Maybe too many people were mistaking it for Jamaican coffee. I had to decide between this and Wilderness, but in the end chose this one because of what I had read about it...

Got out to get some excercse this AM

That's quite the ride there Monbla. I always dig vintage bikes. I have a Lespo Standard here in Korea that looks mighty similar. You can see it in the link (and practice your Russian): http://yuri7751.livejournal.com/383100.html?thread=2571388 I'm pretty sure it weighs more than my car with...

    Squadron Leader, Where Are You??

Hey fellow Canadian, Have you tried Skiff? I find it and SL to be pretty similar but Skiff is usually more readily available. There is a different oriental component in Skiff, although Lat wise I find they have a pretty similar ratio. Concerning the oriental in it, I find it reminds me of the...

    Columbia River Gorge-ous!

Not sure if we can accept that as a selfie Ozark. Where are the sucked in cheeks, duck lips and raised eyebrows. What you have shared is not a selfie, but instead a "smokey", a picture in which the subject's face is so masked in smoke that you have no idea if their beard is on fire or who...

    Columbia River Gorge-ous!

Amazing photos Ozark. I take it you are snapping those with your smart phone? Why no selfies? Just a joke..but really, what are you shooting with?

    GL Pease

What exactly is the "rubber room"? I have heard people refer to rubber room postings, are they located in a particular spot on the forum or do they refer to the content of posts? Like saying "I like Escudo" is as just a boring run of the mill post, but if I was to say something like "Let's...

    SG tobaccos and bite

I smoke a lot of BBF and every now and again, if overzealous, I get bit from the steam. If I'm smoking stuff that is really moist I find it heats up from the steam burns my tongue a bit. Solution...dry it out more and take it easy.

    And now comes the divorce...

Hope it all settles down for you soon. And hopefully the pipes and tobacco you retain give you some peace during the storm.

    Good idea, bad idea..........

I did that once too...pairing grapefruit juice with a pipe. It was about as bad as drinking orange juice after brushing your teeth. I've often wondered how rooibos tea would taste paired with either a pipe or cigar. I imagine it would probably taste pretty good and being that it is caffeine...
