Most of them have had recent sales on various tobaccos. I know I stocked up on Sutliff blends in late October when smokingpipes had a 20% off sale. I figure they have those sales to reduce inventory prior to the end of the year. I could be very wrong about that.

I don't' know about any of them except SuperValue English Mixture. It is definitely a good pipe smoking tobacco.

Lawrence is a fun town with a lot of interesting history, especially leading up to the US Civil War. Home to the University of Kansas, there is much to do and see. Mass street is a fun shopping area with lots of quirky shops. The castle is interesting for sure. A great story.

First up this evening is Watch City Simply VOriental in a Radice Twin Bore Rusticated Bent Apple. My first smoke with this blend. Next up will be Sutliff Field and Stream Match in a hand carved pipe from a friend who is not a pipe carver, another first On the tobacco.

That is an interesting angle on the airway on the Pete Xmas pipe. Does it gurgle?

This evening I enjoyed Presbyterian in a Savinelli Matches 860 Tribute, then John Cotton 1&2 in a Larrysson Rusticated Bent Dublin. They seemed quite similar blends.

Regardless the “flaws”, I bet it smokes like a champ!
