Blackwood's Flake was my first real foray into flakes, and it was a tough road. Almost put me off flakes in general. GH and co. Scotch Flake was early on too, and I found it quite a bit easier to smoke. Escudo was next, and that drew me to PS LBF. LBF got me to try LTF and LNF. Danced around...

Mostly Plum Cake today,. Now a bit of Seville.

I do like Marlin Flake, but fresh it's sort of tart. A couple of years mellow it though. OG tastes like a softer Brown Clunee. Both are nice though, fresh or aged. HoW is almost too soft to my taste buds. Sometimes I'll toss some perique in it to give it oomph.

Rain, rain and more rain! Moat is full, and as it's too cold for the gaters, I released the sharks. It was such a beautiful weekend.

I wasn't aware of anything new happening in Mordor. But I'm kinda out of the loop with happenings down that way, and my trial subscription to "All Things dark.com" expired and I didn't renew. Too many 'partners', if you know what I mean. Honestly, I'm not so old I need a potion to erect a tower...
