took these over easter bbq, nothing special And the ever hated..unless you're a kid...

Alrighty, tried it today in a 1/8 bent dublin with a smaller bowl...rubbed out the flakes and dried them overnight, which might have been too long as they were almost bone dry. Loaded up and tried it and well, much better, but still no shining 4 stars for me, and my tongue is scorched as well...

so far it seems I need to rub it out, let it dry several hours, and smoke it in a smaller bowl...I'll try that tomorrow or friday :D

Purchased 8oz back in Oct. and found it to be extremely flat, almost tasteless, like smoking air or steam...I just couldn't get any flavor at all. Tried it again today after 5 months or so and I find it almost the same, I got a tiny bit of a sour nuttiness when I puffed like a mad man scorching...

Just had a blue moon last night :D but my go to beer has to be Fat Tire from New Belgium Brewing Co. excelent amber ale... As for american lagers, I haven't had too many but during our easter bbq I had a miller and it was quite tasty compared to the usual bud/coors light

The edge is quite tasty too! I also enjoy Sancho Panza double maduros, which are, here in Cali, about 3 or 4 bucks a stick

I don't now if anything will be formulated here in CA :( and we have so many darn pipe and cigar smokers...our own governator smokes cigars and yet every month or so it seams theres stricter and stricter smoking bans, the latest being public parks in many cities. :x

probably not as good as that banana colada but one I enjoyed for a mild drink [depending on the amount of vodka...] was a monkey's lunch...basically a white russian with an ounce of banana liqueur

I second the connies as a great cigar...smoked a couple dozen over the past 4 or 5 years and only had 2 or 3 bad sticks, and for just over $20 a bundle from JR, not bad at all...my pastor and I each smoked one today, now he wants a bundle!

I have a 100ct humidor from them that I had problems with originally until I kind of figured everything out..originally I only had it about 50% or less filled with cigars and not knowing how often to add water...I now keep it almost all the way filled with cigars and add water maybe once a month...

Have not, but looking forward to trying it and seeing what others think of it

I don't think I've ever finished a tin :oops: I'm addicted to trying new blends, so I buy tins, smoke a few bowls, jar it and move on to the next tin...plus at best I smoke a bowl a day or every other day, but I have been known to go weeks and even a month or so without smoking

I have one stanwell and its a good smoke, they just don't make many shapes that I prefer

I enjoy clays as well, very clean and dry smoke once you get used to the mouthpiece. I love the tavern clays, they offer the coldest smoke I've ever tasted. I have a clay pipe with a vulcanite stem, it's a very cool smoke..it's not a porcelain but an actual clay 8)
