I just left eBay and it seems almost every listing ending today has bids on it. I think we are starting to have a new interest of late in pipes. I am having a harder time finding estates at thrift shops and antique stores as well. Hope we have a trend going here.

I almost always start my morning with PA and a strong cup of Barry's Gold tea or dark roast coffee in the summer and a mix of MacBaren's Vanilla Cream with added Latakia in the winter. Then it is all over the spectrum!

This is a much lighter blend more along the VA vein but it is flat delicous. This is another that if available in the US I would smoke on a regular basis. It's a shame that these wonderful British blends are not available over here. I think they would sell very well if they were.

I have been smoking MacBaren's Vanilla Creme this week and it is a wonderful blend. Not overwhelming in the Vanilla, just a back note of it and then the sweetness of VA tobacco. I highly recommend it!

I think this is good stuff. Lot's of taste, smokes all the way down and it never bites. I just ordered another pound of it. I like it in a Peterson System pipe.

Kind of states your opinion pretty well I'd say! I can smoke it but it ain't my blend, that's for sure. Mix it with PA or Five Brothers and it becomes much better if you have some left. You post made me spit my tea this morning, LOL

Has anybody tried mixing Five Brothers with other tobaccos. It is a wonderful mixer as I have been finding out. Mix it with any aromatic and it makes it smooth and rich. i have been mixing it with a spicy black cavendish of late and it is wonderful. Funny how a tiger can make another a kitten.

I had jaw surgery through my mouth two days ago so I am keeping it very easy smoking while my mouth is sore. So, I am smoking a small GBD Bulldog and a MM cob loaded with PA which is always my standby when I have a tender tongue or mouth.

It's amazing sometimes how a no name or off brand estate pipe can give you the best smokes and some really expensive ones will not. I still think the Pete system pipes for the money give the best most reliable smokes. I never hesitate buying one when I see a good deal.
