Hello all. It's been way too long. I have a one year old boy, a new house, no internet, but I do have an iPhone, so I can finally rejoin the community. I feel vaguely like Odysseus.

I haven't been around in quite sometime, since Christmas time I suppose, but my son keeps me very busy. He's 5 months old and growing like a weed. Just figured I'd drop in and say hello and give an update.

A few weeks ago, I read The Road by Cormac McCarthy in about a week and then read Monster by Frank Peretti in about two weeks. Currently, I'm working my way through East of Eden by John Steinbeck. The Road was a beautifully written book. I can't think of a book I've read that's better...

I'd recommend the book Screenplay: The Foundations of Screewriting by Syd Field Your topic sounds fantastic, but will require a ton of research. I hope you do it.

Not that I know of JP, but I haven't researched them. I'll check it out.

You're too kind, to me, but just kind enough to my wife. :lol: When we build our house, my wife said I could have a man cave. Then, my pipe collection will sky rocket, and I'll be able to smoke inside. JP, Santa was good to me, I must've been a great boy this year.

On Nov. 20th at 07:56 (AM Eastern) my son Malachi Alexander was born via C-section. He was 9lbs 9oz and 21 3/4'' long. Here's his hospital pictures. I won't be posting as much since they blocked the site at work, but I'll do my best to stay in touch.

I recieved my Secret Santa box a couple of weeks ago. I got a tin of Maltese Falcon, Bridge Mixture, and Black Sea Sokhoum. I also got a D'arnett pipe and some pipe cleaners. It's a beautiful pipe and I now have 5 pipes, which is plenty for me. I also can't get to the site here anymore from...

Thanks guys, I spent my day taking care of my newborn baby boy (Nov. 20th) and running to get my license renewed. Still a good day though.
