Actually, sealing the doors is not too necessary, although the construction is such that it is pretty tight. The humidifier, as was pointed out, cycles on and off to maintain humidity setpoint as monitored by a sensor in the main part of the cabinet. I am really happy with it. I designed it...

Actually i find myself smoking a pipe more frequently than a cigar. Result? A well aged humidor of excellent cigars.

DMF are excellent. I enjoy spiral cut flakes and find this one to be a very nice example. I am not a big cavendish fan but the little bit in these flakes is a nice addition.

This is the bottom section of my humidor.  I had it made with what i thought would be plenty of storage.  I should have known that all collections expand to fill the space you give them.  :D
