Well here's my first try at a horn type pipe, be kind please! :lol!:

It is surprisingly comfortable to hold on too.

The lines are smooth and the overall symmetry is good. The grain is pretty sweet as well!

That looks pretty nice! How many pipes have you made? Was that from a kit or from scratch?

Thanks all, this was a first try at this shape and overall I'm pretty happy with the results.

Thomas, I would say I've made somewhere in the 15-20 pipe range and yes the briar was from scratch but the stem was a premade vulcanite that I had. I thought the stem would go well the shape. I've made a few stems from scratch also but with my limited time at home I didn't really feel like spending that much time on a stem. Call me lazy! :face: The last couple I've made were just for fun and not by request so they will go to a friends Cigar shop were he'll display/sell. Its great having a self funding hobby!

Wow. I'd say that is perfect! Love the way you've caught that grain.

Wow that is simply stunning! Really has that hooded cobra look to it. Great grain too. I'd say you really did a great job on this!

That one's got some nice flame grain to it. EVERYTHING works on it as well !! Nicely done !!

i don't know how I missed this but that is a very nice looking pipe. I wouldn't mind having one like it in my collection. Very nicely done. :)
