3 for $52.99 on pipesandcigars

Gents,

I was wondering if anyone had taken advantage of this deal(?) on pipesandcigars and what types of pipes one ends up and what the quality is like. They are sold out right now but I am considering going that route, as well as buying more Dr. Grabows, to beef up my rotation.

I would expect briar, but that's about all. There can be a pipe that smokes well in the bunch, but its a crap shoot.

If I were spending that amount, I would use it to buy one mid-grade estate pipe.

I've also contemplated that deal, but I agree with the going for a good one. You can pick up a mid grade Peterson or Savinelli for that price.

Thanks for the input, guys, you are probably right. Plus, there are a couple of Savinellis in that range that I've had my eye on anyway.
