3rd Great Northeast Pipe Show Saturday 11/13/10

Pipe Show at Habana Premium Smoke Shoppe in Albany
Hi everyone,

I’ve got some great news for pipe smokers and vendors from the Northeastern part of the US. Habana Premium Smoke Shoppe (and www.pipesandcigars.com) in cooperation with the Capital District Pipe Club will be presenting our 3rd Great Northeast Pipe Show on Saturday, Nov. 13, here in Albany, NY. Details about location and admission fee will be upcoming. We will have raffles, a wine tasting and lots of new and estate pipes. We are also looking for vendors to give our patrons the widest possible selection of pipes, tobaccos and accessories.

We’re going to put a lot of effort into making this a great experience for both the attendees and the vendors, so please contact me with any thoughts or concerns. We think that our location will make for a terrific show for all concerned as we are about equidistant from both NYC and Boston, and are easily accessible from Rochester, Syracuse, Hartford, Montreal and Buffalo. We will have special room rates available, and we will have surprises for anyone attending. After the show we will have pipe dinner. We can smoke in the facility.

Awesome! Thanks for the heads up Dover. I went to one in March (I think it was March) and that was my first show, a great time. Guess I'm goign to start saving and planning for this one too. :cheers:

To cover the cost, you'll have to try up some of those annoying plastic horns that your fellow countrymen are constantly blowing at the World Cup!!!!

Seriously, I think it would be cool to get as many Brothers together at the show as we can. We had a "micro-summit" back in March. We should make plans NOW!!!!

Dude..... I would need to sell my house to get there......... 23 grand would be the plane ticket alone........ Looking for a sponsor........... any loaded brothers out there....... imaginge hanging around with all of you....... that would be really cool!!

By my calculations it is only 6,789 nautical miles from the Capetown port to the New York port. If you packed your pipes in a waterproof sack, you could start swimming now and probably make it before the show. :lol:

Sorry bro, I smoke to much..... will drown just off Robin island!!!!!!!!
You bet on the price, the exchange rate here against the dollar is real bad and at a whopping 7.8 to 1!!!
P.S. I am in Pretoria so I would need to fly into Cape Ton First.......... ching ching ching add another Grand and a half!!
