Is that not the second one in as many months?

I should look that up. I saw some of the results of it on the Aljazeera news feed tonight. Very sad stuff to be sure. This place is falling apart. Perhaps a reckoning is at hand?

Buildings collapsed on video, lots of destruction this time. Hope Mister E and his family are ok.

Hi guys, we are thankfully okay. The power just came on so I have no clue as of the extent of the damage city wide. We've been incomunicato all day without cellular servicE.

My place was slightly damaged. Broken windows and a door fell off the hinges. Stuff fallen over etc.

I haven't heard from everybody yet down here ... phone service is still spotty and over saturated

Biggest quake since 85. Scary. Really scary.

first you read and watch aljazerra i do t even know how to spell it and 2nd i hope that all our brothers over there are well and ok god speed

Thanks for checking in here Eric and really good to know you're OK. Sounds like a very scary time indeed. The news reports with the TV coverage of the devastation looks pretty grim. Hope you don't get any significant aftershocks!

Cheers,

RR

Phew, good to hear you and yours are ok Eric, it looks really nasty on the news.

Best of luck.

Tim

MisterE, your the first person I thought of once I heard about the devastation in Mexico City.

Glad to hear you and the family are fine and doing fairly well under these trying circumstances. Windows and doors are easy fixes, broken hearts are not. Just go slow and hopefully all will be back to some type of normalcy by this weekend.

May God watch over you and yours, always

Well spotted Rande.

Good to learn you and yours are ok Eric with compatively little structural damage.

Big news world wide. World Service reported 2 large events this morning and a lot of focus on one particular school where they've located a 13yr old girl buried who's still alive. I sense the world is holding its breath for this little girl (and of course, others).

My thoughts are with you...
