Great, now I have to buy pipes out of spite? That's just a whole other level of collecting, right there.

Ha! Butt ugly... Because it's shaped like poo. GET IT!? But hey, in all seriousness, I quite like it, still.
Kyle, I think you should get it, before someone who's name rhymes with Crusty House does.

When I was little and would ask my Dad what we were having for dinner, he'd always say, "Poop on a stick." Who knew that poop on a stick would become so popular in the pipe world?

I've been called weird, however...

...the rest of you have dedicated this entire thread to an obvious (fetish?) obsession with excrement.

Being obvious experts, I'll yield to you, and I hope you all find the **** you desire in life.

I don't own a Kevin Author pipe but I stumbled on this thread awhile ago and I thought it might be of interest to posters on this thread. So take it for what it is worth: http://www.pipesmokerforum.com/forum/showthread.php?1579-Kevin-Authur
As a reminder to myself, I just re-read my signature line. In addition, I find people's observations are usually quite fine, it's their conclusions that come with baggage.

I mean, fair game, but like gun buying, if I based purchases on every negative thing I ever hear, I'd own nothing and go nude. No one wants that.

Also, caveat emptor.

Then again, almost everyone said what I posted here was a piece of crap, perhaps he's a bit more brilliant in his subtle product advertising than we give him credit? :p

The fact that he's said "I really don't think I will purchase anything but a Mark Tinksy in the future." makes me wonder how knowledgeable this guy really is. To narrow your collection down to a single pipe maker? To imply that it is Marks work that towers above all? Ridiculous. The other, basing his opinion upon what seems to be nothing but what he observed from a picture? "I'll not be getting any of his pipes, seems like he does some pretty shabby work". Two opinions I don't think I'll be basing mine off of.
