A Pipe Question

Funny thing about that Preben Holm is that on the side of the pipe that you can't see in the pictures, the wall is very thin, and there is actually a hairline crack that runs vertically down the bowl, yet, it still smokes great! The crack is very thin and kind of blends in with the grain, but it doesn't seem to affect the pipe much. It really smokes nicely, and that plateaux rim looks like the surface of an alien planet!

I really like the bevelled rim on those wide plateaux tops. A sexy little touch.

I've got a freehand just about done that was too big for Falconer's tastes... I'll brush it up and post it here later.
