Hello fellow Pipesters.

I am rather new to this board and was wondering if some of you fellow can give me some good alternatives to some of my favorite blends that are becoming hard to find or too expensive, as well as a few I have not tried that am looking for a suitable replica.

Havent Tried
Stonehedge Flake
Dunhill Nightcap
Squadron Leader
Balkan Sobranie

Have Tried:
Penzance (1 oz Left saving for a rainy day)
Renier LGF(just too damn pricey but a tin lasts forever)
Blackwoods flake (readily available but I wanted to see if there was something like it)

For the most part, a lot would depend on whether (or not) a mule would be "close enough" to a horse to suit you.

I rather enjoy Black Point, which to my palate has as much taste and complexity as Balkan Sobranie Original Mixture. It is not the same taste, mind you, but is every bit as lovely I think.

Absatively. GLP's resurrections of old-time genres are superb in their own right.
Works of the tobacconist's art.
