Apparently the signature study that spurred legislative spasms leading to public smoking bans is bogus, to put it briefly. Shocking.

Unfortunately, I just don't see the lifting of indoor smoking bans as the response to this. :roll:

Unfortunately true. There was never much principled opposition to these bans; it was mostly pragmatic whining and pitting the one group against the other, then counting heads, etc.--one of the defects of democracy. Arguments should have had a property rights and freedom of association context, to my mind. I wonder if people would get the point if smoking were made mandatory?
