It's a Wally Frank nose warmer called The Porpoise Pipe. Never been smoked!! Just did a clean up on the stem and a carnauba waxing on the briar using my buffing wheels. This is rare to begin with but unsmoked I was told..." I think you have the only non-smoked Porpoise known "! Looks good in the pictures but in hand....WOW. I STOLE THIS PIPE FOR UNDER $10.00!! So, another small wood stand shall be built one day soon. The nomenclature is very crisp. The pipe was made in the 40's.
Just wanted to share with ya'll.....

Cool find, though I have to admit it's not a shape I'm particularly drawn to myself. As a collectible, though, it rates right up there!

It's Porpoise would be to hang around and swim...lol

But eventually I will either find it a good home or smoke it myself. Just knowing it's most likely the only Wally Frank Porpoise pipe that's unsmoked is stopping me right now.
It belongs in a pipe Museum.

It'd be a great start to a museum indeed! Unsmoked Heritage Pipes Foundation!
