You can usually pick up a very nice Edward's Estate pipe on eBay for less than $50. The oil cured Algerian Briar makes one of the best smoking experiences available today. I have a number of them and they all provide a level of pleasure equal to that of my Dunhill pipes. Of course the reason being is that the Dunhills are made from oil cured Algerian Briar.  :)

There is also the BoB pipe of the year. It is stickied at the top of the community sub forum.

I've smoked mine twice now...it's a very nice pipe.

Attractive, comfortable clencher, all around nice pipe.

Aj is right...can't beat the Edwards pipes. I know he sent me a couple and they are outstanding smokers.

That Stanwell is really nice for under $100.00

Here's a picture of a new Polinski I won on ebay back in the middle of December for $88.00 delivered for under $100.
There is a Polinski thread in the photo gallery if you'd like to see more.

That is a gorgeous pipe, Hawker.

Another beauty added to the stable.

As was mentioned before Mario Grandi makes a darn fine pipe in your price range that also gets you outside of the production line style.

I've been researching a lot, and contemplating a slightly more expensive pipe if it will get me a lower tier artisan. MG makes some neat pipes, but a lot of them are just sloppy. I've seen pipes with awful clashes of angle between the stem and shank which really ruin the looks of an otherwise great pipe. That said, I'm keeping my eyes on eBay to see if one pops up that strikes my fancy and is more professionally executed.
