It's a Guild, from the old Rhode Island factory. I searched everywhere for the best acoustic I could afford, and the Guild won, mainly for playability as well as tone. It beat out comparable Martins and Gibsons, which were always out of my price range anyway. I'm a strummer when it comes to acoustics, no fancy finger style for me, and that D-55 is fun to strum!
Favorite guitarist? David Gilmour!!!!

Thanks Steve, I appreciate it! The photography angle (no pun intended) has become a very fun aspect of pipe collecting for me. I've always had an interest in photography, but taking pipe photos is turning into an unexpected little sub-hobby. I can't always smoke and I wouldn't know the first thing about pipe carving, or wood working for that matter, so this is a different way for me to enjoy pipes.
