Nice pipes, but two things... in Euros, that'd make a few of those a bit more expensive than $100, then there's shipping...

...also, all are fitted for 9mm filters. Personally, I don't mind using 9mm filter pipes without the filters, they usually have a nice, easy draw, but some people detest them, and they are a little harder to clean when used without a filter.

Blowfish are one of my favorite shapes, probably because their popularity is slim and they're tougher to find. I have one Jilsa from a Tinder Box and kind of a proto-blowfish meerschaum. Both were around $100. The best thing you might do is actually call random B&M stores and just ask.

This was the only one I found reasonably-priced was this:

When I think of a blowfish, I always thinking something less round - with flatish sides. Like this guy:

I think ones like that require a good bit of carving and decent amount of skill. Thats probably why you don't see to many in the sub $100 category.
Hehehe. I actual own that bad boy. It is quite the pipe!

...not to confirm or deny anything, just some cool shapes.

Much of what I figure is there's a fine line between "classic" blowfish and "brandy" and "tomato" shapes, and can kind of cross into the realms of one another. Whether or not this is proper, I don't know.

All I do know is I like the rounded shapes, and if they're offset with angles, panels and some form of asymmetry, especially that which shows off various grain, I'm a big, big fan!

I think that's not a blowfish. My understanding is that a blowfish is a crossgrain by definition, to show beautiful birdseye on at least one side of the the pipe, if not both; and therefore, crossgrain across the top and bottom. I think, I'm not positive, that to be considered a blowfish, it should have a distinct ridge around the sides to define the birdseye from the crossgrain. I'm pretty certain that pipemakers would consider this beauty an Egg. And. It. Is. Beautiful. Wow. I'm a sucker for straghtgrain. I've spent too much on them. I recently bought this blowfish with which the pipemaker took artistic license that accentuates its grain pattern. I tried to stop myself from paying this much, but I failed: https://www.smokingpipes.com/pipes/estate/united-states/moreinfo.cfm?product_id=547079
