Any other Bond fanatics here?

I generally watch the entire series (canon) every November from the beginning (Dr. No) through the most recent (for now, Skyfall). I actually have a group of buddies that are similarly obsessed and whenever we get together discussion always ends up turning towards a debate on the best/worst Bond, best/worst film, bond girl, theme song, villain, etc.

Just thought I'd toss out a post and see if anyone here can't get enough of 007, either.

yes,  I have them all on DVD.  Anymore, I watch the Sean Connery's and the Daniel Craig's and skip the Roger Moore's.

I love the books and the movies. When I was a young, impressionable kid, Roger Moore was the first movies I was allowed to see by myself with buddies. I think "Live and Let Die" was my first.

Later, I read all of the books, by Fleming and others.

I much prefer the novels, which I've been intending to re-read for years. The first three movies with Sean Connery were OK. The rest...meh. Car chases, explosions, and silly sex put me in a coma.

You just reminded me how awful Skyfall was. I hate it when movie pounds a "message" into you throughout the entire film.

Love Connery. Craig, not so much (much to the chagrin of others, I actually place him BEHIND George Lazenby.). My favorite Bond girl is, was, and always will be Daniela Bianchi (Tatiana Romanova, From Russia With Love).
