Ok falles. My Peterson just arrived. I see the red stain in the bowl. I read that one can put some alchohol in there to soak up the stain. What precautions do I need to take for the outside of the bowl? I started to put some alchohol ( Iso %70) on a tissue to place in the bowl, and dropped a bit on the outside of bowl and saw some of the stain rub off on my finger.

I thought " That's enogh!! Time to check in with the gang before I screw this up!"

So what gives, guys?

It involves cotton inside the bowl and, if I recall, everclear (190 proof).
