Burley recommendations

I'd like to see some recommendations for a good burley-based pipe tobacco not made or imported by MacBaren, Sutliff or STG.

I recommend looking at availibility of C&D tobaccos.You can still find a large number of bulk varieties there and many of our members make purchases from them. Smoking Pipes is a reasonably good online tobacconist and has comprehensive descriptions of C&D blends. I would also have recommended Tobacco Pipes but as a Sutliff based distributor they are now defunct.

You've gotten some great suggestions, and I would add WatchCity Cigar has several great burley blends like American Cut Plug, Stubbs Pipe, etc. A MacBaren that could be available until supply runs out (closung Sutliff) is Amphora Original, and some Krogers stores carry it at a great price.

Yes, I'm already using Peretti burleys, specifically the Cuban mix as well as Belmont. Very nice stuff. Will try 111 shortly. (it reminds me of Beethoven Opus 111.)
