Peretti's Cuban Mixture, although sometimes the scenting kills it for me

and of course, Carter Hall.

I have a sample of Hurley Burley that was sent to me by Doverpipes. I'd be glad to pass it to any brother who might like to try it also. Just PM me.
Thanks for that Marty.
Who ever gets it, please let me know what you think of it.
I am trying to see if it is worth my while to blend up more of this blend.
Thus far the feedback has been VERY positive. Only a couple of fellas, who were Non-Burley smokers, didn't care for it. I am trying to get as much feedback as possible.

Thanks!

The mailman delivered some burley blend today Dover (the pony express isn't so express in these parts) ,,I'll give it the third degree and relay my opinions,,,Thanks

Wow!!!
They are really slow up yonder!
I am anxious to see if you like the blend.
Please be brutally honest since this is my first "volume" blend.
If it's not a hit, I don't want to waste any time on batch #2.

Cheers!!!

Here lately I've been an almost exclusive burly smoker, as I have bought several estate pipes that have some ghosts in them. Burley makes a great base for a good solid cake in my opinion. Nonetheless, after much research and careful sampling of multiple burley blends, I can say that at the end of the day it comes down to the American classics of Carter Hall and Prince Albert. At the price, why not keep them around? I also have posted in a couple of other places about my love for Sutliffs Maple Street, which is the only aromatic I smoke (with the occasional cellared Captain Black) that is a strong burley flavored blend.

Very good thread !
Thanks you guys.

I have a friend that smokes "ONLY" Sir Walter Raleigh, which , through my research , is a Burley.

I would like to get him a tin of good Burley for Christmas, and this sure helped, as I have taken notes, and will research the ones that have multiple mentions.

There sure are alot to choose from
