C&D Carolina Red Flake - RECALLED

Wow, just Wow!!!! Been at this hobby since Sept 1964. First time I have ever heard of/experienced a pipe tobacco recall :shock: Anyone else experienced this? :cheers: FTRPLT

Didn't C&D have some issues with their "Organic Dreams" tobacco?
I vaguely remember something about the use of prunes to act as a mold retardant.....didn't work.

I remember getting one tin and it was "swampy wet". It somked fine after drying and was pretty decent. A friend got a tin shortly after I did, and it was infested with mold.
