There's another one like it, a charatan. The hardcastle posted previously is pretty much the same pipe too I think. Charatan, hardcastle, royal lane... they Are really all the same brand. Tell everyone it's a dunhill. You won't even have to lie!

Another, same shape I think but angle makes it hard to tell. Do a google search for charatan diplomat and you should find several examples.
Edit: here is a thread from BoB that popped up doing the above search with another pic of the shape about halfway down the page. It's hard for me to tell 'cause I'm lookin at these pics on an iPod touch (tiny screen), but I'm pretty sure it's the same shape. Thank You Frost. I'll happily say I found a Dunhill for cheap. :shock:
I can see why it was a "second" but to me that just adds character.
Now my next two dumb questions.... what would you call that shape? So that I can look for similar pipes. and What tobacco goes well with a Dunhill/Charatan/Royal Lane second second pipe, first smoke after a long rest? I'm thinking Frog Morton, or maybe in keeping with the spirit of the thing a Virginia bulk blend.
