I like to nose around Shopgoodwill.com. Occasionally, something is offered that boggles my mind that somebody dropped off without checking on it's value.
Check this out: Martin & Co 24` Banjo Ukulele 8 String
It's listed as an 8 string banjo ukulele. It's a an antique Martin mandolin, that looks be be in excellent condition, albeit very dirty.
Bids are now to $451.00. I'll be flabbergasted if it goes for less than triple that.

Now, Saturday afternoon, bid only went to $453.00.

Oh my word. That should clean up quite nicely.
I am disappointed there wasn’t a real banjo ukulele hybrid anywhere.

Wow! Somebody is gonna get a fine instrument for (maybe) a bargain price!

I once bought a Martin D12-20 12-string guitar in excellent condition at the Goodwill for $25. Ya never know!

I'd guess that the "heavy bidders" will start the real auction about five minutes before it ends and conclude with a snipe.

$653.51 final price. I was prepared to bid higher, but forgot about the auction.
