Chicago Show 2012 Roll Call

I'll be arriving this evening for the pipe making seminar and staying through Friday evening. Sadly, I can't stay for the whole show, but I'm looking forward to the next three days in a big way.

On Friday I bet it would be a lot of fun for us BoBers to meet up in the smoking tent to share some baccy, beer, and conversation.

So who's gonna be there?

Find me and there will be a group of Bassists hanging around. Not sure why. But they all seem to tolerate me well. :lol: I think Brian and some of the guys, Allan and his son, who you may have met at a meeting, are setting up equipment today. I have a township meeting tonight, so I hope I get home early and not oversleep in the morning. But I will be there ASAP in the morning.

I'll be arriving around 1pm on Wednesday along with Dr. Bob Kiess, Bob Swanson, Pete Prygelski, and Larry Lampner. The East Coast contingent!! From Maine to Florida.
Looking forward to another excellent show and meeting up with more forum members.

Doc, I missed you, but I think I saw you across the tent. It was very busy. I think it was a great time.

It was certainly a busy weekend, sorry I missed You at the event. I was cruising the show Saturday and Sunday most of the day, in and out of the tent and just trying to take it all in. It was a pretty good show for me personally but I thought the traffic and attendance was down a bit from years past and there were some empty tables available also. The first time I believe there was no waiting list for tables. On the plus side, all the rooms in the resort were smoking rooms, although not publicized as such. This makes for a great convention with no enforced regs on the hotel.
Hope your show was as successful and again, sorry I didn't make contact with you.

You missed Friday? That was sooooooo intense on Friday during the pre-show. They did it in the smoking tent this year and had a pretty stable crowd most of the day. Sales and trades seemed to be very brisk.

I was stuck at my table on Friday. And I did tell Craig Cobine that it was the best pre show ever with the smoking and full attendance all day. I think they should cover the whole convention center with a tent!!! LOL
