Maybe you've seen one of the ads, or just heard of this common British OTC. Finally got a pouch and tried it.

It wasn't as bad as I've heard, or as good as I'd hoped. 'Blandly inoffensive' might be a good term for my reaction. Imagine unflavored 'half and half' if you can (for how it smokes and N), flavored by a tiny bit of Erninmore and that might be a good description -- no real trace of Kentucky, lots of cavendish.

So, if you're curious like I was, I'll split the rest of the pouch in thirds and send it off to the first 3 PM's of those in the US you want to give it a try. I'll send it off later this week and let us know what you make of it

That's a helluva description Doc, lol! I thought about picking up a pouch out of curiosity when we made the last order when you had mentioned it. Thanks for jumping on that grenade

After watching the commercial, I am pretty sure that it's gonna be good. ;)
Just remember, when the brand changed hands in 1998, they apparently 'adjusted' the tobacco somewhat

Glad to take one for the team -- not sure why so many people on tobacco reviews hate it so much though!

Blast from the past. I used to smoke a lot of this blend in the 80s. Being a poor student then, it provided something very enjoyable without breaking the bank. But it has now become a dry, flavorless mess of a shag that burns fast and hot. I hope you guys like it, but it is now missing the peppery and spicy qualities that made it great to expel through the nose.
