Rob, that is a drilled, 3 piece C logo, so it is quite durable (like an inset, white Dot Dunhill stem). The thing white pieces can be fragile, but with some care, you just sand the oxidation off and then buff to a shine. Those stems are a delight to work on for that reason (as are Dunhill, Sasieni and Ashton).
