This is my first attempt to post a pic (fingers crossed)
Enjoying some of my own blend called Darth Va-Tur, a blend of dark Virginias and Turkish (no Latakia, Burley or Perique). Very flavorful and smooth. Here's the recipe if you happen to have these ingredients in your cellar:
I make in 15 gram batches as follows:
7 grams Peretti D-9507 (dark fired Virginia and Turkish Dubec)
3 grams Peretti Black Virginia
3 grams Astley's 44 (or Wessex Dark Virginia)
2 grams McClelland Black Sea Sokhoum
If you don't have any McClelland I tried another version using MacBaren Dark Twist which gives a sweet, savory BBQ note instead of the red VA and cigar notes of the Sokhoum.
