Davidoffs

Yesterday I bought two brand new, never been smoked, Davidoffs, one #401 which is a Dublin and one 410 which is a Lovat Cognac. Both pipes came in their satin pouches, in beautiful sturdy boxes. I paid R495.00 = $70.00 each. In the USA they retail for between $550.00 and $600.00.

Our only tobacconist bought a job lot at a bankrupt estate auction. It included 5 new Davifoffs and that's how it happened that I'm now the proud owner of two R4,000.00 plus pipes!!

I'm a happy man!

That's just one of the reasons I long for a proper brick and mortar tobacconist around here.
