A member of the SmokersForum posted a thread on Disneyland Pipes and includes this link to an article of the days when Disney had tobacco shops and sold pipes on Main Street. Fascinating and an aspect of Disney they've love to remain forgotten. Heres the web article. The SmokersForum thread shows pictures of the pipes, many of which appear have been made by Comoys.

Cool link. Thank you.

Back when smoking a pipe was as common and normal an activity as any other.

I'm not even that old and I remember when you could smoke in a hospital. I have also puffed cigarettes on plenty of flights.

Thanks for the link, Al!

Have you ever seen the P&T spread featuring Brian Levine's (former smokingpipes sales manager, currently a rep for Brigham) Disney pipe collection?? He has a ton of very cool pipe and pipe related stuff all Disney themed.

I've sorta been searching for a nice Disneyland pipe just for the hell of it. Not too easy to come by!

And I LOVE anything that reminds me how socially acceptable pipe smoking used to be... I should have been born 40 years earlier! LoL

My first pipe was from the Main Street USA tobacconist in Disney World! A pretty figural meer, not Disney-branded. At the time I was... 15ish? At the time, never thought I'd smoke it. How things change!

I've not seen the P&T article S.Ireland. Is it available online? Sounds fascinating. I can be sort of an anti-Disney guy at times, so the fact that they sold their own pipes makes me chuckle in these pc times....
