After trying Presbyterian awhile back and almost dieing from a gagging fit I thought I'd have nothing to do with Orientals (tobaccos that is) but, I recently heard somewhere that it was boasted that Dunhill MM965 was there finest tobacco. So being a kind of sewer of fine tobacco's and things I had to try it. Upon first draw I knew there was something a miss, I like it and I not only like it, I really loved it. This is strange indeed, me love something other then Escudo? Yes, there are a few other blends out there I really like but, nothing has ever competed with Escudo like this before. Well, maybe it's just a Spring time fling or a passing infatuation but, what ever it is I'm going to enjoy it while it lasts.........which will probably be at the end of the tin. Gee Hope not.

Ron, having smoked 965 off and on since it was blended by Dunhill, then Murray's and now STG/Orlik  I would say you are experiencing a truly classic blend which is not all that different from years ago and because it has the blend of leaf that it does has become a fav of many smokers over the years!!   Welcome to "the Club"    I have an un-opened tin I got two years ago and your post has made me realize I need to re-visit it again !!

Well I can certainly say that there be a few more tins of it in next months order, just how many remains to be seen. ;)

Glad to hear you like it Cart.  That cavendish in it rounds it out.  You might like Apertif too.  It's in the same ball park.
Thank you for the recommendation sir but, I won't be going any further onto the ice till I know this half's safe. ;)

I'm glad to hear you branched out some. 965 is an outstanding mixture. It's so well rounded for an English it's hard not to like it. I don't know if you're a single malt scotch guy, it does go very well with speysides and highlands though.

Naw, I'm an alcoholic guy. :fpalm: Haven't had a drink in about 20 years but, that's okay.
I trust the rest of ya to get s**t faced for me.

That's a joke, as I don't approve of excessive alcohol consumption by anyone......well, maybe my enemies.
