Awesome, would love to see a shot of the full 6lb 14Oz in the 36 containers, that would be something to behold.   :sunny:

Not Illegal, probably tacky & in poor taste. Most likely down right cold Blooded :D
but fun!

I also have a pic I save for messing with people's minds when a discussion  of Scottish Cake comes around.

Where does one find those larger tins? Are they 4 oz? My screen resolution can't quite make it out.

:?:

This is part of my Escudo stash. This shelf is mostly Escudo (the small rectangular tins are F&T Cut Blended Plug). Obviously, I love the stuff and want to make sure I have it for as long as I live!

What's not shown here is a tin from 2000; there was a rumor floating around that it was going out of production, and I bought several sleeves. I have one left from that batch that I'm saving for a special occasion.

Remember. Fla. is about an10 hour drive for an old East Texas dude so I'd be on the look-out and ready to protect that stash . I think I heard Cart starting his truck !!

BrewDude

back in 08 , Pipes & Cigars carried some of McConnell's blends in the 100 g tin but not the SC
I E-mailed customer service at P&C and they found a partial case at XYZ Direct LTD. in Atlanta
I have not seen any 100 g tins since 08. and I'm down to 7 of the big tins & maybe 2 doz. of the 50 g. tins

Here ya go Pete. I found the answer from Mr. Wortzel regarding perique in OGS.

Mr. McKinney:

My coworker in Denmark passed along your question regarding Orlik Golden Sliced.
For the record: there is NO Burley in OGS. It is Virginia with a hint of perique.
Part of the confusion is probably due to the fact that some of the tin labels are actually
incorrect and say that there is Burley in there.
Regarding the other variant you mentioned: no plans to bring it to the U.S. at this time.

Thanks for your trouble, my bro'   Good to know the truth. I've ordered some OGS last week and I will now "look out" for the perique. But whatever, OGS remains one seriously nice tobacco.

Cracked open a tin of Escudo right now, so beautiful to look at and soooooo nice to smell. And oh so tasty in my pipe.

I just LOVE Escudo   :bounce:

Stokkebye Luxury Bullseye Flake is quite similar to Escudo and comes in bulk. Very reasonable, too.
Not exactly , bullseye have cavendish wich escudo do not. But there is another one without the cavendish wich is very similar , also produced by orlik.
