Old school. I still use Old Spice (original)…deodorant. One of two classic scents that carries memories whenever I smell it. The other is Coppertone.
If you haven't pulled the trigger on that purchase, I highly recommend the Henson Shaving Company. The medium aggressive model does a great job. The way it is engineered results in it not feeling aggressive at all. They have some interesting razor there, I am in the market for a new one maybe.
A lot of of those scents are like some codger blends. Not fashionable, but still good. I count Brut as one of them.Ohhh also I cleaned up and old cupboard a few months ago and found an un opened BRUT that would have to be at least 25 years old. I cracked it and splashed it on. Bought some good memories back, funny how fragrance/smells do that.
Hippy cologne, as I have heard it called. One ounce bottle of Patchouli essential oil mixed with one ounce Jojoba oil makes for an unforgettable experience. One dab behind each ear and you'll either get a compliment, (E.g. "That smells nice, is that patchouli?"), or a put down,(E.g. "What's that stink, smells like bug spray").
Intensity beats the most expensive designer label parfum, and that for $25.
As @igoldberg pointed out as incense it would be used to cover up the scent of that at the time illegal smoking weed.Patchouli essential oil
That was my dad’s after/pre shave! I miss him and what I would give to smell that again.Williams' Lectric Shave has been my daily for decades. It's not cologne, but it does the job nicely.
Still love that smell!Hippy cologne, as I have heard it called.
