Bless me brothers for I have sinned, it has been months since my last post. i will start at the start, me and the old lady got to fighting. I went to the CORPS show in Richmond and we got in a hell of a fight afterward over some stupid stuff. This led to her going out all night sometimes not even coming home, 3-4 nights a week. This did not sit well with me.

Things got progressively worse until I accused her of cheating on me. She left, I left. Went to China, smoked some terrible pipes and some good ones. Took in some fights and other illegal type activities until I get a call, it's the wifey, please come home. I get on the next plane and back to VA with me. this was 12/01/10.

Things were going along swimmingly untill 12/8 when I went for a run and came home to my house (rental) on FIRE. I tried to fight the blaze but i was overcome. i grabbed the importants and ran like he11.....the fire men came. It was a mess. The house is still standing and we will be able to move back in probably next week.

Ohh yeah. VA changed the law and i got a reckless driving charge on 1/01. I have to be to court on 2/7.

So there you have it. The last few months of my hectic life laid out in a few nice paragraphs.

It isn't often that people who are drawn to pipes live Action Hero lives. Especially the dark side stuff. (Fights in a foreign country? Reckless driving? "other types" of illegal activities (also on foreign soil :affraid: ) ???

Perhaps there is something about a board name of initials, where the second letter is a capital "B". There's a truck driver around here who used to stir things up a bit, and I don't mean on the Internet. (He's all married 'n docile, now, though.)

Sorry RB-5, couldn't help it,,,,,,,,,,hang in there, things happen for a reason

So how was the CORPS show ?

It was killer!! I wish I could remember it better but the day got real hectic.

When you walk into the hotel you could smell an amalgamation of smoke. You could literally follow your nose to the conference room. Right before the big room was a lobby, with several round tables and gentlemen sitting and having a pipe and the odd cigar. To the right was a long cafeteria type table with i believe a green tablecloth, but i could be wrong about the green. Behind it were 2 men, one younger one older. They took my money and gave me a ticket and sent me on my way

Enter to the right and the room is huge and smokey. It smells like tobacco in this room is the only way I can but it. It was what i would imagine it to be like to be smoked in a pipe. There were many tables, all down each side and through the middle. Every type of briar and fake briar and you name it really, that's when my memory gets fuzzy, it was just sensory overload.

I know I bought a bunch of tobacco from cornell and diehl.

HA! I wish it was more romantic than it really is. I know some marketing people that love me and they live in china so they put me up and i played banjo around town. the people really liked it. I didn't get into any fights, I just like watching Muay Thia. There was plenty of shows. And as far as the reckless driving I was just trying to visit my grandmother and I was running late. I realize that that is no excuse however and I will diligently work towards being a better driver and obeying the laws of the road.

Ah. "Took in some fights" meaning as a spectator. I thought you meant the 3:00am, rough trade in a dicey part of town sort. Like you're an aspiring MMA guy always on the lookout for a workout, or something. Never mind.

according to the Fire Marshall unspecified failure of the kitchen stove led to electrical fire.
