Won my first estate pipe today - a bent dublin (I think), Davidoff stamp.

I searched, but if a thread doesn't exist, are there recommended suppliers of basic refurb supply sellers/gear.

The spongy sand pads, buffing wheels that go on a grinder, tripoli, boiling alcohol thing, and whatnot.

The search function is a but rough, so forgive the 53rd version of this thread

I've bought sanding pads and a pipe retort from eBay just recently. I'd presume you'd be able to get buffing pads etc. there too.

As for alcohol to use, I'm using plain vodka in my retort though if you've everclear available I'd probably go for that.
