Well, the good news is that I could name lots of snuffs that should work well for a beginner. The bad news is that you have to order them from overseas since our government's wonderful PACT act.

snuff is inexpensive, but the shipping on a small order will kill you. :x
The only other thing I can think of is American Scotch Snuffs. They are about the worst choice for a beginner and generally Nicotine brutal. However, many old timers in the South "lip" them (like dip) so consequently they are available at southern grocery chains like Winn-Dixie, Piggly Wiggly, etc. Not sure if they would reach into WV or if you'd have to go south to rural Va to find them. They're what I started with, and I actually stuck to it.
