I too have put in a google search for a certain genre of movies in order to get some ideas. Another method I have used is to google a particular actor or actress. Wikipedia usuallly has their filmography listed on their wikipedia page. Once you click on a wikipedia page for a particular movie, you can then go to the cast listing and search the filmography of other actors and actresses. Searching this way can give you an endless supply of ideas for movie title searches.alfredo_buscatti":sapflk1w said:I can never think of titles for movies I want to see, so I google search like "best sci fi movies," get someone's list and then see if they have it. So far they're running about 80% good. What an awesome selection for free!
If you like sci fi, "Alien" and "Aliens" are classic, but I watched an unknown yesterday called "Dark City." Sci fi noir, one of the darkest/blackest palates I've ever seen. You might call it ultra. Good story, very dark themes, with William Hurt and a very young Jennifer Connolly. Apparently she sings but is not serious about that. Very original and twisted plot which holds together thematically.
If you save a movie to favorites every time you do a search on the Viooz site, you will always have more movies bookmarked to watch, than you have time to watch them. Also, if you keep an eye on the home page of the Viooz site, you can save to favorites new titles as soon as they are added to the site.
I watched the new Tom Cruise movie "Oblivion" yesterday, but wasn't too impressed with it, since I usually prefer my science fiction to have lots of bloodshed.
